How Is a HydraFacial Performed?

A HydraFacial involves 4 basic steps: cleansing and exfoliation, an acid peel, extractions, and antioxidant protection. All these steps are made possible with the device’s 4-in-1 vortex technology.

  • Vortex-Exfoliation: A vacuum gently lifts the skin while the Hydra-Peel tip removes make-up, dirt, and dead skin cells.
  • Vortex-Peel: A gentle but effective mix of glycolic and salicylic acids loosens deeper impurities, dead skin, and sebum from your pores.
  • Vortex-Extraction: Extractions clean out pores and pore plugs that are responsible for inflammatory acne, along with blackheads and whiteheads. And yes, you’ll be able to see everything that comes out.
  • Vortex-Fusion: This tool infuses your skin with Antiox+, which is a blend of antioxidants, hyaluronic acid, and anti-aging peptides.

The whole treatment only takes about 30 minutes. After your appointment, you’ll be free to put on makeup right away, though your skin will look so radiant you might not want to.
