If you’ve been giving it your all in the gym but are still struggling to shrink stubborn pockets of fat, CoolSculpting at our Fenton, Michigan, med spa may be what you’re missing. This nonsurgical body contouring procedure can shrink down localized fat deposits to help you sculpt a slimmer, smoother physique and feel even more confident in your skin. Both women and men visit us for CoolSculpting from Flint, Holly, Linden, Parshallville, and other nearby communities.
For those looking to kick visible bulges to the curb, CoolSculpting is a popular treatment that involves no needles or anesthesia, little to no downtime, and results that really last. There’s a reason it’s one of the most popular cosmetic procedures in the U.S.
What Is CoolSculpting?
CoolSculpting is an FDA-cleared body contouring treatment that freezes and destroys targeted fat cells, leaving behind a slimmer silhouette. While it’s not an overall weight-loss procedure, it can noticeably reduce fat deposits that may resist traditional diet and exercise.
CoolSculpting can slim down the:
- Chin and jawline
- Inner and outer thighs
- Bra bulge
- Banana roll (under the buttock)
- Upper arms
For those looking to treat a double chin specifically, we also recommend KYBELLA® injections, which break down fat cells under the chin.
How Much Does CoolSculpting Cost?
The cost of a CoolSculpting treatment varies on the size and number of areas you’re looking to treat. Our CoolSculpting consultations are $100, which you can apply towards your CoolSculpting treatment, or any other treatment if it turns out you’re not a CoolSculpting candidate.
How Does CoolSculpting Work?
CoolSculpting works by using powerful controlled cooling to freeze and destroy fat cells, which are then naturally eliminated by the body. This process is called cryolipolysis. Because fat cells freeze at a higher temperature than other cells, the treatment can safely freeze fat without causing any harm to the skin or other surrounding tissues.
What Does a CoolSculpting Treatment Involve?
At the start of your CoolSculpting treatment, your provider (often our CoolSculpting specialist, Brittany Moyski) will attach the applicator to your targeted area. This involves some suction that will pull your fat tissue up into a cup on the device. The machine will then start cooling down your targeted area, at which point you’ll be free to read, relax, or even nap.
The time varies depending on which areas you’re treating, but you can expect to be in the office for 2 to 3 hours per area of the body. We’re one of the only providers in the area to offer DualSculpting, which means 2 devices working at the same time. This lets us give you double the results without adding any time to your treatment.
Does CoolSculpting Hurt?
The CoolSculpting treatment itself doesn’t typically hurt. In fact, most people go numb after a few minutes of intense cold. You may feel some numbness, tingling, or aching after your treatment, which can last as long as 7 to 10 days. Most people find this doesn’t stop them from enjoying their normal daily activities.

How Long Does It Take to Start Seeing Results From CoolSculpting?
You’ll start to see results between 2 and 5 months after your CoolSculpting treatment as your body gradually flushes away the destroyed fat cells.
How Many Times Do You Have to Do CoolSculpting?
Most areas can be fully treated with 1 to 3 sessions, which you can schedule 30 days or more apart.
How Long Do CoolSculpting Results Last?
These results will last as long as you maintain a stable weight. If you do gain weight, you’re likely to gain it more evenly across your body rather than collecting it in those stubborn pockets like before. Once those treated fat cells are gone, they’re gone for good.Back to Top
